free people trousers/ jack by bb dakota top/ random cardigan

 

i decided to resurrect these free people trousers that i've had forever. because they're so masculine, i wanted to pair it with a really feminine top, and this structured but sweet tank worked beautifully. they're a little difficult to style due to the wide by wide and straight by straight leg (which is what makes them amazing in the first place) but with all the menswear and trousers coming down the runway these babies just refused to stay meekly in my closet. i'm kind of in love with the way they completely cover my feet. and of how much they remind me of katherine hepburn.
